The aim of this project was to develop the capacity and raise awareness of managers and department heads from governmental and non-governmental organisations on gender equality and the role of women in the development of a society.
40 managers and department heads from different governmental and non-governmental organisation.
The long-term impact of this project was mainstreaming a culture in Afghanistan where both genders are equally respected and valued and where women play an active role in the development of the society. In the short-term the project aimed to achieve the following:
A decrease in the number of jobless women.
Better job opportunities and working conditions for women.
More women friendly and gender-balanced organizations.
More female employees working in key positions.
Better coordination and cooperation between the genders in the workplace.
